JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Packer performs general operations and packages
finished products manually or mechanically.
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sets up work
station and verifies product for conformance to specifications in router
or print.
- Setup and
operates tapping machine, assemble nipples.
- Checks labels to
ensure they correspond with router.
- Packages product
based on router instructions.
- Delivers sample
parts to the Quality Assurance Department for approval when required.
- Performs
in-process inspections as detailed in the Quality Control Plan.
- Checks finished
product for cosmetic defects (i.e. poor plating, scratches, bad threads,
etc.) and notifies supervision or Quality Assurance Department of
nonconformance.
- Uses a variety
of hand tools and operates various machines to perform general assembly
functions.
- Weighs or counts
parts and places in bag or box.
Closes and labels package.
- Stamps employee
number on package of finished product and stacks on pallet.
- Maintains
paperwork as required.
