General Labor/Inventory - Sheffield, MA
JOB SUMMARY:
This position serves as temporary on-site labor in the logistics area of the storeroom; including parts identification and data collection, as well as other implementation needs as assigned. This position ensures that the client inventory is validated and cataloged properly and completed within implementation deadlines in order to meet dates. This position will also proactively reach out to management and the client to on parts identification and problem resolution.
Essential Functions:
- Perform product identification match against inventory database
- Research key product identification utilizing a variety of tools to include (but not limited to) database of items, internet research, product catalogue research, and interviews with product end users
- Maintain close communication with Implementation Leader regarding all customer issues and concerns
- Perform data collection consistent with the SOP manual, using the data collection tool
- Provide professional customer service to both customers internal and external
- Special projects as assigned
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
- Experience with MS Word, Excel or similar spreadsheet data entry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and good problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized and ability to adhere to deadlines
- Experience with product labeling and parts identification
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Must be able to pass required safety training
