Document Imaging Specialist - Fort Collins, CO

Summary:

Responsible for scanning and indexing documents into Imaging system.  Responsible for remote deposit scan of check deposits.  In addition, this position will be responsible for any ad-hoc financial reports and analyses requested by management. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All duties and responsibilities are to be performed according to established policies and processes and done in a time sensitive manner.
  • Process AR adjustments while ensuring approval matrix is followed.
  • Set up new customer accounts which entails coordinating various departments for needed information.
  • Remote Deposit scan of checks, balance and post batches.
  • Scan and index AR Adjustments, AR New Customer Applications, AP invoice documents and Pack slips, Tax Certs, Bill of Ladings into imaging system to ensure smooth processing and for future reference and research.
  • Coordinate processing of AR deposits using remote capture technology and send balance block for cash flow reporting.
  • Work across functional boundaries to meet internal and external customer requirements.
  • Maintain organized system of filing and paperwork.

 

 

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  MS Office suite skills required.  Typing/keyboard/10 key by touch.  Independent worker with strong organizational skills.  Must be able to prioritize heavy work load. 

 

Other Skills and Abilities:

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

·         Excellent PC/system skills.

·         Detail oriented, strong sense of initiative and self-motivated.

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Experience in downloading and uploading files.

 

 

Language & Mathematical Skills:

 

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.  Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.   Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies.  Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be detail-oriented. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.

 

Reasoning Ability:

 

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or virtual on-line classroom.  Must be a self-starter and able to perform tasks without direct supervision.  Problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level.  Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. 

 

Physical Demands:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear.  The employee must regularly lift up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
