Qulaity Associate [Archived] - Fridley, MN

Shift: 1^st shift is M-F 7am-3:30pm

Job Summary:  Assists the Quality Technician who manages the quality system to insure production meets the quality demands of the customer and Ajax Metal Forming Solutions, LLC. quality standards. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Performs all duties and responsibilities with an emphasis on safety. 

Assists the Quality Technician who writes and maintains levels 1-policy, 2-procedure and 3-work instructions quality documents, and stores on Unipoint or other media as required. 

Assists the Quality Technician who maintains the measuring tool calibration system. 

 Performs PPAP, First Article inspections or other first part quality control methods, as needed. 

 Documents, investigates and recommends remedies for all non-compliance reports (NCRs). 

Assists in performing daily audits of Ajax Metal Forming Solutions, LLC quality system and recommends opportunities for improvement to appropriate management personnel. 

Assists the Quality Technician in all outside customer audits when needed.  Pulls together all required documentation and leads the customer through the audit. 

Communicates with internal and external individuals on quality issues and standards.  

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Continuous learning regarding quality systems, as well as with regard to machine knowledge and ability in order to gain knowledge, skills and proficiency in machine operation and its integration with quality. 

Keeps work area clean and orderly 

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.   

Advanced level Blue Print reading ability. 

Must be willing to attend any schooling necessary to complete the future educational requirements.
