Primary Duties:
1. Primary duties are packing bread for wholesale accounts. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail a must.
2. Operate machines (bread slicers, twist tie) and perform hand work to meet daily product specifications and quotas.
3. Assemble orders for customers/double check items
4. Organize orders per delivery route.
5. Cleanup as required.
Job demands and requirements:
• Ability to work in potentially hot and dusty (flour) conditions.
• Must have ability to work at a consistent pace to not slow production or hinder quality.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work overtime hours as needed.
• Knowledge of products and variations.
• Must be able to work within a team environment, and independently as needed.
• Must develop knowledge of production paperwork to advance and general bakery function.
• English proficiency required for advancement to intermediate and senior levels.
Prerequisites:
No experience necessary, but advancement can occur only if skills are mastered, which includes maintaining cleanliness throughout the production area and, if necessary, developing English proficiency.
