Customer Service Rep. - Colorado Springs, CO
SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, answering customer questions, entering order information into the QMS system, handling ordering, scheduling changes, and working with necessary parties to resolve in a timely fashion any discrepancies that may occur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To effectively communicate with customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with irate customer – sense of humor is a very strong plus.
- Demonstrates an ability to operate under pressure of multiple customer demands
- Interacting with customers about order and/or scheduling changes.
- Ability to juggle multiple phone lines.
- Effective message taking.
- Superb internal communication with all departments and Supervisors.
- Simple filing and record maintenance
- General clerical duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Customer Service experience in manufacturing or related field required
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as: ISO 9001 and AS9100 is a plus
Working Knowledge of Computer Applications such as: Outlook, Excel, Office 365 is required.
Typing speed of 35 WPM or better is required.
Must be able to enter and process data accurately.
Experience with relational database programs required. Shoptech E2 experience is a plus.
