Contract: 6 months
Primary responsibility is to quickly hire top technical talent for our client – the team that ideates, executes, and delivers technology for our client’s retail business unit. This role will work closely with Digital Leadership to stay up-to-date and execute on the Digital organization’s contractor hiring needs.
Responsibilities:
Run contractor hiring process end-to-end, from resume receipt to offer response, managing >25 resumes per week and pushing each candidate through the entire process in under two weeks
Communicate with contracting vendors real-time about hiring process movement (e.g. moving a candidate from resume review to phone screen) and provide candidate feedback
Promptly respond to and manage critical vendor needs (e.g., special accommodations)
Actively work with Digital Leadership to continuously update [contractor hiring needs
Work with vendors to schedule phone screens and final round interviews
Coordinate with Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure execution of pipeline activities and proper tracking
Conduct resume and phone screens, assign phone screen responsibilities throughout the organization, and actively follow-up to ensure screens are conducted
Train new screeners on resume and phone screen process and evaluation criteria
Proactively work with vendors to ensure we are prioritized as a client and improve offeree cultivation
Improve contractor hiring process as required
Assist with contractor onboarding and evaluation
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client- or customer-facing role, preferably in recruitment/talent attraction, account management or HR
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, psychology, or a technical discipline
Excellent and structured written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership presence and ability to work with and present to top leadership
Ability to manage and influence without authority
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Comfort with ambiguity and quickly changing requirements
Natural sense of urgency and ability to deliver within tight timelines
Ability to continuously reprioritize and simultaneously manage multiple streams of work
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset
Willingness to work outside traditional hours when critical to the success of the hiring process (not a regular expectation; would be an exception rather than a rule)
Experience with evaluating resumes and conducting and evaluating interviews preferred
Passion for innovation and “can do” attitude
