Assembler - Fort Collins, CO

Position Summary:

Responsible for utilizing various types of equipment to assemble products according to written and/or verbal instructions, established company procedures, safety, and quality guidelines. Capable of executing tasks within defined tolerances, using personal observation, physical dexterity and machine knowledge to make adjustments insuring quality in terms of registration, adhesion, color and clarity. Has or quickly gains good understanding of Fiberlok products and how they are constructed. Produces high quality product while maintaining reasonable production speed by performing the following duties personally and as part of the application/packing team.

Essential Duties:

·         Receives production order and job assignments from supervisor. Reads order to verify quantity to be run, overrun tolerance, required materials.

·         Obtains materials and related supplies needed to produce job.

·         Verifies equipment is setup according to established company guidelines, safety, and job requirements.

·         Operates equipment required to assemble product for job.

·         Accurately apply components by hand, visually locating pieces to complete construction within established tolerances.

·         Ensures proper cleanliness of equipment and work area by returning/disposing excess supplies and materials.

Work Environment:

• Daily work within a manufacturing floor. Operations may be noisy
• Work around or with potentially dangerous machinery. Consistent care and observation of safety rules is required.
• Rotation between different positions and duties within the manufacturing floor is likely.
• The entirety of the work shift will be spent standing.
• Overtime may be necessary to meet required production levels for short period of time.

Skills:

• Physical ability to perform the required operations.
• Perform basic math and counting operations.
