Diesel Mechanic - Saint Paul Park, MN

Corporate Management Groups is currently hiring for a Diesel Mechanic at our St. Paul Park location.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with occasional overtime.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Perform routine maintenance diesel trucks. Maintenance includes repair of engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brake systems, suspensions, chassis, wheels/tires and driveline.

·         Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance tasks such as replacing oil or lubricating equipment.

·         Replace or repair damaged and malfunctioning parts after doing inspection.

·         Make use of computers or gauges to interpret diagnostic test results.

·         Use hydraulic machinery to lift large equipment and vehicles.

·         Inspect the parts and systems that make up the machine or vehicle.

·         Perform test drives to be assured that vehicles are working properly.

·         Complete required paperwork and maintenance log sheets.

·         Will be exposed to a physical environment in a shop/warehouse, which involves dirt, odors, noise and weather, etc.

·         Must go on service calls when needed.

·         Safety equipment and gear will be supplied.

·         Qualifications:

·         Experience preferred; however, willing to train a candidate with mechanical experience.

·         CDL preferred.
