Press Brake Operator - 1st Shift [Archived] - Plymouth, MN

Corporate Management Groups iscurrently hiring for a Brake Press Operator position at our Plymouth, Minnesotalocation.

Shift:1^st Shift / Monday – Thursday, 6:30AM-3:30PM and Friday’s, 6:30AM –12:30PM

Pay: $18.00 -$21.00 per hour (depending on experience.)

Job Summary:Operate a Cincinnati Brake Press Machine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Set-up and operate Cincinnati brakepress using such materials as stain lees steel, cold rolled, etc.

·        Ability to perform math, measurepart dimensions using calipers, protractor

·        Must be able to inspect parts andmeasure critical dimensions

·        Ability to meet production rates

·        Ability to read blueprints

·        Maintain calibrated tooling

·        Ability to stand for several hours

·        Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

·        Must work in a safe manner

·        Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be willing to undergo an E-Verify.
• Safety Protocol
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts, and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

·        2 -3 years of experience on a BrakePress Machine.

·        Must be able to set up the Press Brakefrom scratch or a program

·        Must be able to figure out benddeductions

·        Must have basic tools

·        Cincinnati Press Brake Machine experienceis a plus

·        Strong work ethic, along with great attendance

·        Must be able to read and interpretunder and follow verbal directions

·        Proficient in shop Math

·        Detail-oriented

Skills Required:

·        Shop Math skills

·        Ability to read blueprints
