Position Summary:
The Electro-Mechanical Technician plays a key role in assembling and testing our equipment within our Advanced MotionGroup. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work.As an assembly technician you will contribute to our production efforts while working in a collaborative environment focused on excellence.
What You Will Do
Assemble electronic components and mechanical systems following detailed instructions and schematics
Utilize tools such as power tools, hand tools, and an Ohmmeter for testing and assembly
Use a PC to check/locate stock, bills of material, prints, manage work orders etc.
Perform duties with strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Job Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is a common requirement, along with vocational training or an associate degreein a related field
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Adherence to safety policies and demonstrating safe work habits at all times
Uncompromising attitude towards quality and customer satisfaction
Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to communicate with internal teams and arbitrate difficult problems
Ability to work independently with little supervision; willing to work overtime as needed
Team oriented; interact with other departments to garner support and constructively solve problems
