Quality Inspector - Longmont, CO

Summary

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System by following the required procedures and ensuring customer requirements are identified and met.  This position will perform in-process visual and dimensional inspections of all manufactured products as well as final visual inspection of parts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first-article, and final inspections using standard metrology tools (calipers, height gauges, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, etc.)
• Operate CMM
• Verify part conformance to engineering drawings, tolerances, and work instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications
• Document inspection results accurately
• Identify nonconformances
• Collaborate with production operators and supervisors to resolve quality issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

·       Ability to work in a team environment.

·       Must have advance level of attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.

·       Must be proficient with ERP and Microsoft Office Systems

·       Excellent knowledge CMM operation

·       Must be able to operate various inspection tools

·       Must have excellent math aptitude
