Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain QMS documentation to ensure consistent compliance with Quality certifications and
requirements. (ISO 9001:2000, AS 9100D)
• Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on QMS requirements.
• Establish/maintain program to evaluate precision and accuracy of testing, measurement, and analytical
equipment. Ensure requirements to calibration standards.
• Perform internal audits to verify compliance and identify areas needing improvement.
• Coordinate all external audits and supplier qualification surveys.
• Generate Quality Assurance related reports as necessary/directed.
• Serve as point of contact to Management for Quality related problem definition, resolution, loss reporting
and continuous improvement.
• Proactively interface with quality and engineering groups from a diverse customer base with a variety of
materials, to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Responsible for final inspection and testing.
• Direct and provide support to workers involved with Calibration, Lot Acceptance, Periodic testing.
• Develop standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation ofproduct/processes.
• Review Industry and Customer technical specifications for compliance. Perform analysis of gaps in
meeting compliance and implement required systemic changes to achieve compliance as directed.
• Perform all required metallographic quality inspections, including microhardness, tensile tests, and
metallographic etching for microstructure analysis.

Education, Training and/or Experience
• B.S./B.A. Degree in Quality, Engineering or Related Technical Field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5 Years of Quality Experience (or combination of education and experience in Aerospace Industry).
• Proficient in blueprint reading/interpretation, dimensional tolerances (GDT), NDT, and other product
qualification/acceptance testing methods.
• Must have significant experience with the implementation of AS9100D requirements and achieving
certification.
• Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Access.
• High level of verbal and written communication skills.
• Metallurgical experience with an emphasis on heat treating is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AMS specifications.
