Operational Leadership:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our operations, drive growth, and optimize efficiency across all aspects of our business.
Position Overview
The GM will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth. The GM will work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction within our welding, manufacturing, and fabrication divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all aspects of operations, including welding, manufacturing, and fabrication processes.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to maximize efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to formulate and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and risks.
- Lead initiatives for process improvements, cost reduction, and operational optimization.
Financial Management:
- Manage operational budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure productivity and efficiency.
- Drive cost-efficiency initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Team Development & Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across production, logistics, and quality assurance departments.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee talent development, training, and succession planning to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
Customer & Vendor Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and operational continuity.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Technology & Innovation:
- Drive the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational leadership within the welding, manufacturing, or fabrication industry.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and business growth.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, manufacturing software, and data analytics tools.
