Position Summary

The Maintenance Manager oversees all maintenance operations within the facility to ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and safe, uninterrupted production and fabrication. This role provides technical direction, coordinates maintenance planning, and leads continuous improvement efforts that support operational efficiency and asset longevity.

Essential Functions

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations involving hazardous chemicals and gas , environmental health and safety guidelines, and local building and fire codes.
  • Provide management capabilities to facilitate the overall maintenance of the facility buildings, manufacturing and R&D operations.
  • Initiate and manage improvement and repair projects for operations and facility equipment and systems.
  • Maintain manufacturing and facility equipment and maintenance records and monitor PM program.
  • Manage facility and plant maintenance group.
  • Approve and oversee contractors.
  • Working knowledge of chemical/gas plant and supporting safety equipment systems
  • Working knowledge of calibration systems and safety monitoring systems
  • Work in conjunction with Corporate Engineering on all projects.
  • Participate as an active member of the facility Emergency Response Team.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and exhibit sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Chemical/gas equipment experience
  • Experience with building maintenance including HVAC and electrical systems and/or construction and reading blueprints.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • This position reports to the Branch Manager.
