2nd shift Machine Operator - Sauk Rapids, MN, MN

Our company is looking for a skilled Machine Operator who can work well in a fast-paced environment and make regular adjustments to keep our equipment performing at an optimal level.

We're looking for a candidate who understands the inner workings of machine tools, and can complete daily maintenance tasks in a timely manner. A Machine Operator will make regular checks to keep equipment functioning properly and then notify maintenance staff when additional adjustment is needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to use equipment/tools.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Possess basic mathematic skills.
• Neatness in appearance, with a pleasant, outgoing, self-motivated personality.
• Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Clear out the equipment and make sure it is clean and safe before it is used again.
• Fill the food packaging product into the flow wrap machine.
• Ensure that all safety standards are met.
• Make sure that the machinery is functioning properly.
• Perform routine maintenance checks throughout the day.
• Make sure that all documentation is filled out to a proper standard.

Physical Requirements: (with or without reasonable accommodation):

Ability to lift/move 10-65 pounds continuously. Requires varying degrees of pushing, pulling (of 400-pound tubs), bending, and lifting to move boxes. Must be able to continuously perform simple repetitive and manipulative tasks. Able to perform tasks requiring action of muscles or groups of muscles such as walking, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (eight-hour shift).
