Direct Labor- Welding
Senior position. Analyzes
blueprints or prototype parts to determine tools, fixtures, and equipment needed
for manufacture and plans sequence of operations for fabrication of products by
performing the following duties.
Essential Duties &
fabricates, and repairs metal and other weld able material by applying
appropriate welding techniques.
a welder, plasma torch, overhead crane and grinder, and read a tape
with all company welding procedures and is flexible in any task.

code certified in 4G, 5G, and possibly 6G positions.

complex weld symbols and interpretation of complex drawing for complex
layout, jigging, and fixturing with little or no instruction.
- Must be able
to pass a standardized welding test within 60 days of employment.
- Qualified in
multi-process welding – sub-arc, electrolocess, etc.
Ability to read, interpret and/or understand
work and safety instructions provided in English in order to complete the
essential functions of the job.
Ability to effectively present information and
respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such
as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive
variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with
several abstract and concrete variables.
