Key Deliverables |

Contract Risk Management: § Responsible for contracts being up-to-date and electronically (Retail Indirect SharePoint) available at all times. § Maintains all contract documentation and ensures that files are maintained in a logical and sound sequence. § Ensures that contracts meet pertinent legal contractual requirements at all times. § Ensures contract pricing, adjustments and quantities. § Monitors contract usage and end-user usage of the contracts and reports variances to Indirect Lead. § Engages with end users to address contract usage issues where necessary. § Takes appropriate steps to ensure that contracts remain appropriate. § Ensures that the company’s policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Contract Optimisation: § Liaises with the Indirect procurement function to identify potential contract items and takes the necessary steps to ensure such items are added to existing contracts or appropriate contracts to be established. § Takes cognisance of and action requests from end-users for the adding and/or removal of items to contracts. § Makes recommendations and under the supervision of the senior contract administrator awards contracts. § Prepares and submits for approval by the contracts manager; enquiry document, tender evaluations and recommendations on proposed award of contract, contract documentation and amendments to contracts. § Issues contracts within limits of his/her delegated authority. Supply market cost management: § Contract management cost savings/synergy calucation and realization for low value / priority contracts. § Elevates certain activities and issues to Retail Indirect Lead and Key Stakeholders. |
Know How / Qualifications |

Experience: <2 Years Education: Undergraduate Degree Education: Preferred |
The applicant will have: Two to three years’ experience in purchasing, procurement and/or contract management. Expert user in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook High level of analytical skills – Cost models and pricing analysis. |
