Bakery Helper - 2nd Shift - Saint Paul Park, MN

Corporate Management Groups iscurrently hiring for a Bakery Helper at our Saint Paul Park, Minnesota location.

Shift:2^nd Shift / 6:00pm until work is completed / Sun and Thurs off.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00per hour

Job Summary:Assists various departments to ensure that the highest quality of product isbeing prepared and distributed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Fryer/Bench:

·        Follow all GMPs and SOPs

·        Move and distribute bakerysupplies and products in and around production area of bakery, using handtrucks, dollies and troughs

·        Assist in measuring ingredients

·        Lift and dump containersof materials to help load and unload machines, bins, hoppers, racks, and ovens

·        Feed raw dough into hopperor between rollers of machine

·        Grease, line, ordustpans or boards preparatory to receiving product for baking. May cut, turn,or twist dough into specified products and fill baking pans with dough/filling

·        Observe and rearrange baked/unbakedproducts on conveyor before products enter slicing machine

·        Push racks of bakery productsinto designated areas to await further processing.

Wrapper:

·        Follow all GMPs and SOPs

·        Package bread, dinner rolls,buns, etc.

·        Feed buns/bread throughmachine for slicing.

·        Observe machine operationsto ensure quality and conformity of packaged products to standards, such asmaking sure the product is properly sealed.

·        Regulate the metal detectorand machine speed.

·        Place finished and packagedproduct in boxes or on pallets for distribution.

Catcher:

·        Catch, pan, and count donutsas they are finished according to the Fryer count sheet.

·        Regulate metal detectoraccording to the specifications.

·        Remove finished items frommachine and separate rejected items.

·        Follow all GMPs and SOPs.

·        Inspect and remove defectiveproducts.

·        Clean and remove damagedmaterials.

·        Fill products with specifiedfillings as needed.

·        Report any maintenance issuesimmediately to your Supervisor.

·        Clean and sanitize fillingmachines.

Laborer:

·        Feed finished product onto the line to be packaged, inspect for quality, and discard any unusable productin the appropriate location.   

·        Package productinappropriate containers per specifications.

·        Catch product and placeit in the respective container according to weight or serving size.

·        Run product through metaldetector if needed and document metal detection accurately

·        Seal and label productsas required

·        Place finished and packagedproduct in boxes or on pallets for distribution.

·        Stretch wrap pallets andtake to freezer, warehouse or shipping using a manual pallet jack.

·        Maintain freezer inventory.

·        Place any unused productin its appropriate storage location.

·        Complete any packaging QApaperwork. 

·        Follow all GMPs and SOPs

·        Performs other duties asassigned. 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be willing to undergo an E-Verify and background check.
• Safety Protocol
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts, and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Skills Required:

·        Multi-task skills

·        Reading comprehension (ability toread and speak English can be required for certain assignments

·        Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.and up to 50 lbs.

·        Must be able to work in a warm environment(summer months)
