Coffee Production-1st Shift - Thornton, CO

Department: Coffee Packaging

1^st Shift Schedule: M-F 5:00am- 1:30pm- Mandatory weekends and possible overtime- MUST HAVE EXTREME FLEXIBILITY!!!

1^st Shift Pay: $15

Temp-to-hire position with opportunity for excellent benefits

Job: This position is in our coffee department. Once the coffee has been roasted, it needs to be packaged and boxed. We have multiple machines that package different weights of coffee, as well as a k-cup line.

Must have flexibility to meet quickly changing job assignments.

Description:

•       Packaging coffee in its different containers

•       Printing and labeling coffee products

•       Sealing and taping the packaged coffees, using the vacuum pack machine

•       Loading and unloading finished product on pallets, shelves, floor racks

•       Assisting in cleaning entire coffee floor daily

•       Completing required sanitation/cleaning logs. 

Requirements:

• Fluent in English – Team Leader does not have the ability to speak Spanish
• Dexterous and methodic with the hands
• Ability to follow precise instructions
• Ability to operate basic handling equipment and hand tools
• Ability to focus while performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Adheres to strict SOP’s
• Ability to maintain clean work area
• Ability to read, understand, and maintain logs.
• Must be comfortable wearing safety equipment.
• Punctual & reliable
• No buttons, jewelry, shorts, ripped clothing, etc.
• No perfume/cologne and no nail polish or false eyelashes
• Ability to Lift 50lbs without assistance continuously throughout entire shift
• Follows our GMP guidelines
• Able to follow COVID-19 procedures including submitting to a temperature check before every shift and wearing of a facemask while in the facility.
