Grinder Operator 2nd Shift - Louisville, CO

Position will fluctuate between grinding and hardware insertion machine.  Will train on hardware insertion technique.

∙Grinds, files, or sands surfaces of metal parts and items. 

∙Performs a variety of repetitive rough grinding operations on selected parts, flanges, weldments, and fabrications to remove scale, burrs and studs hardware. 

∙Soothes surface of item to a specified finish. 

∙Works in different areas within the shop. 

∙Polishes, grinds, and cleans metal surfaces. 

∙Operates hand trucks, carts, pallet trucks, and hoists in the movement of materials and disposing.

∙Detects defective materials, unusual conditions or operating difficulties and report to the supervisor. 

∙Adheres to all Company Safety Programs, Rules and Regulations, and Employee Procedural Guidelines. 

Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, including stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching. Frequently using hand tools. Must be willing to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Will frequently and repetitively be able to lift 50 lbs.
