Assembler - Anoka, MN

Corporate Management Groups is currently hiring for an Assembler at our Anoka Mn. location.

Shift: 2^nd Shift 3:30 pm- 2 am (Mon- Thurs)

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary: Primarily responsible for quality assurance of machined and assembled product. Operate a variety of mechanical, power and hand tools. Fill and package product for all customer orders. Assist with inventory and assembly when needed. May be required to perform additional duties as assigned. To verify, package and prepare all customer orders for shipping. Operate a variety of mechanical, power and hand tools when needed. Assist with inventory and shipping / receiving when needed.  Assist with providing an accurate count of inventory shipments that are prepared and received to from coders. Also, accurately pull parts for shop orders and return assemblies to stock.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify, assemble, and package orders for shipping.

Improvise when there are obstacles within the assembly process.

Assist with Inventory when needed.

Assist with Shipping / Receiving when needed.

Warehouse finish product

Assist with receiving and preparing an accurate count of inventory shipments to / from coders in a timely manner.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Always “Thinking Safety First”

Ability to operate a forklift.

Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Ability to operate a variety of mechanical, power, and hand tools.

Accurately pull parts for shop orders and return assemblies to stock

Qualifications:

Team player, attention to detail, desire to learn/grow, multitask, ability to prioritize. The candidate must be personable and a team player. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be a self-starter. He / She should be able to work independently, act decisively, and yet willing to communicate with team members in a timely manner. Also, should have organizational skills and keep a clean workstation. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. He/ She must have the willingness to learn and be trained. Also be willing to work overtime when needed.
