As a RDN, you need to know how to:

• Assess nutritional needs of patients

• Develop, implement and document patient care plans

• Evaluate and monitor patients’ nutritional status

• Demonstrate age-related care skills defined by unit population

• Promote better nutrition and provide nutrition counseling to patients and t

ir families

• DSMES Program: developing individual plans and collaborating with staff to provide complete diabetes care and support.

Your experience. We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Bachelor’s degree at school accredited by ACEND

• Complete 6 to 12 months of work in an ACEND-accredited practice program

• Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as Florida Chapter

• Current RD license, in good standing with license board

•Minimum of 1 year RD experience working with special populations
