Facilities Maintenance - Broomfield, CO

The Facility Maintenance Tech will perform or coordinate repairs on building, equipment and furnishings. Provide excellent customer service to employees in all departments responding to requests. Maintain inventory of departmental parts, products, supplies and corporate assets. Completes required documentation to ensure compliance to cGMP’s.

Essential Duties:

• Manage grounds (irrigation, lawn and snow removal) and exterior of building.
• Assist with security and visitor control systems and processes (checking in visitors, issuing badges, escorting visitors and contractors)
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs of building systems.
• Assist Facility Services team and building technicians with multi-person tasks as needed.
• Directly perform or coordinate furniture projects, modifications, or repairs.
• Responsible for pest control and floor drain sanitation tasks.
• Manage / maintain office copier and fax equipment for the facility.  Directly provide or coordinate repair of equipment.  Maintain inventory of related supplies – paper, staples, toner, etc., and replenishes equipment as needed.  Provide monthly copy count to equipment vendor.
• Perform, inspect and maintain maintenance records for building equipment (fire extinguishers, etc.)
• Maintain inventory of departmental parts, products, supplies (break room, restrooms, safety, PPE, etc.) and corporate assets.

Requirements:

High School diploma required. Vocational Building Maintenance Certificate training desired. 1 - 2+ years of General Maintenance experience.

Specific physical demands include:

Must be able to work in a hot environment (80-100 degrees F)

Stand or Sit:

Must be able to sit/stand in a relatively stationary position 75 percent of the time.

Walk

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and warehouse to access file cabinets, materials, machinery, etc.; as well as, attend meetings; or discuss business issues with other departments; includes occasional use of stairs.

Use hands/fingers to handle or feel:

Occasionally required to use a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer). Includes repetitious typing.
