Safety Coordinator - Henderson, CO

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

May include, but is not limited to the following:

·         Comply with HSE Company Policies and Programs

·         Provide general support and assistance to the Plant Manager and the HRBP.

·         Assist with Health and Safety monitoring activities.

·         Assist with HR general activities

·         Assist HR to implement programs required by Corporate (Service events, health fairs, etc.)

·         Promote incident and accident prevention in the workplace

·         Maintain regular visibility in production areas

·         Assist in Health and Safety audits

·         Maintain relevant H&S Documents and Records

·         Conduct Monthly Formal Workplace Inspections

·         Assist in the development and implementation of Hazard Assessments and Safe Work Practices

·         Provide Contractor/Visitor Safety Orientations

·         Provide New Hire Onboardings

·         Work with Vendors and order specialty safety supplies when required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·         Highschool degree or equivalent work experience

·         2-3 years of previous administrative support

·         Proficient with MS Office Programs

·         Ability to solve complex problems

·         Ability to deal with conflict

·         Preferably multilingual in English and Spanish
